About me

Hi! I’m Steph Payne.

I believe deeply in the transformative power of movement and sound—they restore balance, awaken energy, and reconnect us to ourselves and others. My journey as a musician, dancer, and a sound healing practitioner have taught me how rhythm, sound and motion can all help heal the body and calm the mind. Moving and music reinvigorates our bodies—it clears our minds, balances emotions, helps motivate us to progress and empowers us to feel capable. Ultimately, sound and movement connect us with ourselves, others, and our surroundings. 

Sound has been significant in my life. From being a musician, a dancer, earning a B.A. in Audiology & Communication Disorders, and as a person who finds emotional expression in a variety of music, sound has moved and helped me process my emotions while going through the ups and downs of life.

Movement has also played a central role in my life. I trained with Ballet West Conservatory when I was younger, and I still cherish the emotional therapy that comes from dancing. A few years ago, I co-founded a nonprofit youth running program – Wolfpack Running Club – to give kids a place to work hard, get in better shape, and be part of a team. Now I coach rock climbing at Momentum, where I guide and support climbers of all ages. I also teach an adult essential aerial class and a kid’s aerial yoga class at Awaken Studios. I’ve seen how physical expression builds strength, confidence, and joy. My mission is to guide others toward that same transformation—helping you move, feel, and live with balance, connection, and renewed vitality.

  • Reiki Level 1 & 2 Certification from 108 Meditate

  • 60 hr Aerial Essential Certification from Awaken Studios

  • 12 hr Aeriatsu from SpaNinjas (Shiatsu in an aerial Hammock) 

  • 200 hr Yoga Instructor Certification – Completing November 22, 2025

    Einstein’s Frequency Theory stated each atom of a solid vibrates around its equilibrium position with a frequency. He said, “Everything in life is vibration.”


    Each part of our body has its own unique frequency. Research shows that changes take place in the regulatory systems of the body through the use of sound/vibration and every particle, gland & organ emits sound at different frequencies. Sound Healing is a meditative practice involving the use of resonant music that is non-invasive.


    The GOAL of sound healing is to restore balance (equilibrium) to your energy field.
